Macchiato vanilla


60 ml brewed espresso
1 tablespoon (15 ml) MAUVE vanilla syrup
A dollop of frothed milk




Brew Espresso: Prepare 60 ml of strong, hot brewed espresso.

Add Vanilla Syrup: Stir in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of vanilla syrup into the espresso. Adjust the quantity based on your sweetness preference.

Froth Milk: Froth a small amount of milk until you have a dollop of frothed milk.

Pour Espresso: Pour the sweetened espresso into a small cup or glass.

Add Frothed Milk: Spoon a dollop of frothed milk on top of the espresso. The milk should only slightly color the espresso, creating the “macchiato” effect, which means “stained” or “spotted” in Italian.

Serve Immediately: Vanilla Macchiato is best enjoyed promptly to appreciate the contrast between the rich espresso and the sweet, frothy milk.

Stir (Optional): If you prefer a bit more integration of flavors, you can stir the vanilla syrup and frothed milk into the espresso before drinking.
